Track Name: Human, All Too Human
Hope prolongs the torments of man,
but it's all that I've got.
Track Name: God's Lonely Man
I have died one thousand times,
and I will die one thousand more.
The birds have feasted on my remains,
and the flowers have blossomed too.

My memories slip through my fingertips,
like sand in the hourglass.
I've left too many lives behind,
I have died one thousand times.
Track Name: In the Desert
In the mirror I saw a creature,
naked and bestial.
Squatting upon the ground,
My eyes always met with his.
He held his heart in his hands,
and ate of it.

"Is it good, friend?"
"It is bitter, but I like it."
"Because it is bitter?"
"And because it is my heart"
"My heart?"
"Our heart."

It is bitter and it is my heart.
Track Name: Endeavor to Persevere
How can I live in the present
if I'm always trapped in the past?
I'm chasing echos and living lives
on change long spent.
The way your eyes taunt me
in old photographs still stuck on the wall,
How can I live?
Can I live?

I'm so tired of this existence.
If given the chance to leave,
I would gladly cease to be.
If meaning historical and suicide philosophical,
then paint me as the forgotten philosopher.

The things we have said cannot be given back.
"I just want something different, I'm sorry."

I'm lighting a match underneath our old photographs.
Just let it go, let things be.
Falling or not, you'd be falling with me.
You'd be falling with me.
Track Name: Mad Prophet of the Airwaves
I'm a HUMAN BEING, God damnit! My life has VALUE!

When you fall from the bottom,
I guess the height doesn't seem that bad.
It's only when you've noticed your ankles are broken
that you've realized you never quite landed.
I'd trade my existence for one moment in time
just to be the dead skin on another person's hands.

We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat. We sit watching our TV's while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen homicides and sixty-three violent crimes, as if that's the way it's supposed to be. We know things are bad - worse than bad. They're crazy. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone.' Well, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street. All I know is that first you've got to get mad.
You've got to say, 'I'm a HUMAN BEING, God damnit! My life has VALUE!'

I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!
I won't take this anymore!

I've lost my way.
Have I defected?

My indifference and insensitivity have led only to suffering
Is all of life reduced to the common rubble of banality?
Track Name: Tiny Flowing Currents, Immediate and Forever
When the time came to use the knife, I flinched.
Again I walk alone as the ugly trees wave.
The living do not arrive and the dead do not leave.
I can't blame you.
I offered you what was left of me,
you gave me everything.
I can't blame you for everything.
Track Name: Sentient Metamorphosis
Between zero and one lies an infinity.
I slipped between the numbers and fell through the cracks.
Death is the tool to wield against the infinite.
Death and change, for they are one and the same.
Two faces of the same blade, brandished against the constant.
A method - dissection and illumination -
against the static greatness of the vast universe.
Death will bring a screeching cosmic halt.
Death will bring hope.

Between zero and one lies an infinity.
I slipped between the numbers and fell through the cracks.

There is poetry inside of a cardboard box.
Documents and photos of strangers with familiar faces,
Eyes that gleam and glow bright with pride,
Strange and bold audacity.
The things we hide away, be it accidental or intentional,
they wait for us to stumble and fall.

Hope is the leash of submission.
